Senior Business Solution Consultant - SAP QM (Quality Management)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Solution Consultant specialized in SAP Quality Management (QM) to join BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad. You will design, develop and maintain SAP‑based solutions that support BASF’s Quality Assurance & Control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of solution development on SAP R/3 and S/4 platforms.
• Design and implement application enhancements and new applications for QA/QC processes.
• Develop using modern programming practices to ensure stable, supportable solutions.
• Collaborate with solution consultants and business units to continuously improve QA/QC functionality.
• Integrate SAP and non‑SAP systems through contemporary interface architectures.
• Support testing, system maintenance and produce comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in ABAP and OData (REST/OData2 & OData4) for integration.
• Extensive experience with SAP object‑oriented programming and SAP R/3, S/4HANA (on‑premise or cloud).
• Familiarity with abapGit, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms and SAP extensibility options.
• Good understanding of database normalization and performance optimization.
• Experience building interfaces using SAP API Management, SAP CPI and OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of latest SAP technologies such as BTP, RAP, CAP, CDS views and annotations.
• Ability to design scalable architecture and conduct unit testing.
• Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum).
