Senior Associate - Non-Financial Risk, Trade

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Associate to support non‑financial risk management across its Transaction Banking and Corporate Finance portfolio. The role focuses on trade‑related products such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Trade Loans and Supply Chain Finance, ensuring safe and customer‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical risk advice to product, sales, implementation, operations, technology and digital delivery teams.
• Prepare analysis of trade product risk profiles, control effectiveness and customer outcomes.
• Translate business, operational and technology risk information into clear insights, reports and governance updates.
• Support risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting across the end‑to‑end trade product lifecycle.
• Assist with product change, client implementation risk activities, governance and regulatory readiness.
• Escalate issues, incidents and emerging risks through appropriate channels.

Required profile

• Experience in non‑financial risk management within Transaction Banking or Corporate Finance.
• Knowledge of trade finance products and their operational lifecycle.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
