Senior Associate IAM Engineer – Strategy, Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

PwC is looking for a senior experienced leader with a technical background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead a team that supports critical IAM processes across the organisation. The role involves platform operations, service health maintenance, vendor management and strategic delivery, working closely with HR, IT Risk, Compliance and Infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and run end‑to‑end IAM operations, covering identity lifecycle, access requests and fulfillment workflows.
• Manage ITSM‑aligned processes including incident, problem, change and request management with clear escalation paths.
• Lead audit and compliance execution for access controls, evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Drive automation‑first operating model to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and reduce ticket volume.
• Build strong partnerships across Security, Infrastructure, HR, application owners and enterprise service management teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IAM or security operations with at least 5 years leading teams and service delivery.
• Proven senior leadership and management skills, including managing on‑shore and off‑shore personnel.
• In‑depth knowledge of IAM processes and ability to quickly understand bank‑specific procedures.

Required skills

• Identity & Access Management platforms (SSO, MFA, IGA, directories).
• IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.
• Automation and orchestration using APIs and workflow engines.
• Security information and event management (SIEM) for monitoring and anomaly detection.
• Privileged Access Management controls and audit compliance (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI).
