Senior Associate – Agentic AI Engineer (Advisory)

About the role

At PwC, the Senior Associate will design, develop and deploy enterprise‑grade agentic AI solutions built on Java microservices, cloud‑native architecture and secure, scalable platforms. The role blends AI engineering with modern backend practices to deliver production‑ready, resilient AI systems for advisory clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build agentic AI systems integrated with Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Develop and deploy AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Bedrock Agents, AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build secure, scalable APIs with OAuth2, JWT, and manage service‑to‑service identity.
• Architect Kubernetes‑native applications, enable observability with OpenTelemetry, and manage configuration and secrets via HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Implement GitOps deployments using ArgoCD and develop event‑driven systems with Apache Kafka.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices development.
• Hands‑on experience building cloud‑native applications on Kubernetes and implementing secure API authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, resilience patterns, and observability tools (OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with event‑driven architecture using Kafka and GitOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
