Senior Analyst – AI & Data Strategy

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead AI and Data Strategy initiatives within its Master Data Management (MDM) function. Based in Gurgaon, you will work closely with the Vice President of MDM and the Office of the Chief Data Officer to operationalise data governance and drive enterprise‑wide data excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement MDM solutions using platforms such as Reltio, aligning them with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT, business units and data governance teams to integrate MDM across systems like Oracle Financials, Coupa, Salesforce and Mastercard Billing System.
• Partner with data quality teams to profile, cleanse, enrich and manage the lifecycle of mastered data, monitoring key quality KPIs.
• Drive automation of data ingestion and consumption processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee system upgrades, migrations and new deployments while maintaining operational stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Master Data Management and reference data domains (merchant, customer, product, supplier, legal entity).
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with business, technology and governance stakeholders.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into practical, scalable solutions.
