Android Developer – Mobile App

About the role

Snapmint is seeking a self‑driven Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance, reusable code for its flagship mobile application. You will collaborate with designers and fellow engineers to deliver customer‑facing features that will serve millions of users across India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the Snapmint Android app from concept to production.
• Implement modern Android architecture components such as Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, Room, DataStore, WorkManager, and Navigation.
• Integrate APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and handle data serialization with Gson.
• Write clean, testable code following MVVM and other architectural patterns.
• Debug performance issues, memory leaks, and use tools like adb and ProGuard.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and track progress with Jira.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
