Sample Launch Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Sample Launch Manager to lead the end‑to‑end execution of sample programs for Bosch’s technology projects in Bangalore. You will be responsible for delivering sample prototypes on time, within quality standards and budget, while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall sample program, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, functionality and cost, including scrap cost.
• Lead the Sample Engineering (SE) team and manage bottlenecks, escalating issues to integrators, engineering line managers or value‑stream managers as needed.
• Handle material obligations: release forecasts, manage material changes, oversee stocked material usage and scrapping.
• Define and track sample milestone plans aligned with project timelines, quantities and technical content.
• Coordinate sample project plans and costs with the sample shop, purchasing and engineering functions.
• Consolidate internal and external demands, manage baseline releases, change and risk management.
• Identify and resolve process‑related or technical bottlenecks, prioritize material and sample builds, and handle escalations.
• Measure and report sample KPIs, lead SAMCO content, and contribute to value‑stream process improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering or technical background (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Proven experience in managing sample or prototype programs in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on cost and quality control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
