Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Envalior is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its India Commercial team. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the compounding plant, utilities, ETP, and dryer areas while driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define, set up, and run a company‑wide long‑term awareness and training program for cybersecurity and safety.
• Follow ENVALIOR QESH requirements and related standards to maintain safe plant operations.
• Plan, review, and approve maintenance orders, including work permits and contractor procurement.
• Maintain the active backlog, track material arrivals, and analyse maintenance history and preventive maintenance data.
• Develop improvement proposals, contribute to criticality ranking, and support equipment reliability optimisation.
• Participate in FMEA sessions and translate maintenance strategies into integrated PPM plans.
• Edit SOPs and JSAs to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
• Define spare part requirements, manage inventory, and ensure availability for production.
• Lead small civil projects, installations, and commissioning through the PMP process.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SHE & security standards in an industrial environment.
• Experience with maintenance planning, order management, and work‑permit processes.
• Ability to analyse maintenance data and propose reliability improvements.
• Proactive attitude towards safety, sustainability, and continuous innovation.
