Sales Executive – Hotel Sales

About the role

The Sales Executive will be based in Pune and will focus on driving room and service revenue for Ginger Hotels through proactive sales activities and strong partnership building.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate and travel partners.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts.
• Conduct regular sales calls, property visits and lead management.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the sales system and track performance against targets.
• Collaborate with operations and front‑office teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Contribute to local marketing initiatives, promotional events and sales strategies.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and business‑development skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Experience in relationship management and client servicing, preferably in hospitality or related services.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities when interacting with corporate clients and travel partners.
• Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities and support local promotional strategies.
• Attention to detail in documentation, reporting and use of CRM/sales tracking tools.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and within cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous hotel sales or front‑office experience and familiarity with the Pune market is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
