Regional HR Business Partner – Tamil Nadu

About the role

The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Tamil Nadu will partner with business leaders across sales and non‑sales functions to drive talent acquisition, employee retention, engagement and HR policy administration for the zone.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ZHR in building a comprehensive hiring plan, setting goals and improving processes to meet talent acquisition mandates across all functions.
• Mentor and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring they are equipped to fulfil hiring requirements aligned with business plans.
• Coordinate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and provide strategic talent acquisition consultation.
• Lead campus hiring efforts for the zone and act as a brand ambassador.
• Implement employee engagement initiatives, devise a proactive talent‑risk framework and drive engagement surveys.
• Define and manage employee grievance processes and other employee‑relations matters in a timely manner.
• Facilitate timely rollout and execution of performance‑management processes across the zone.
• Ensure consistent understanding, adoption and adherence to HR policies at the zonal level.
• Implement or review HR policies and systems to align with market relevance and business requirements.
• Create and execute communication plans to educate employees on HR policies and practices.
• Assist the Zonal HR with audit readiness, preparation and responses.
• Prepare and circulate HR MIS reports with key insights to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition across sales and non‑sales functions.
• Ability to mentor and lead recruitment teams.
• Experience leading campus hiring initiatives.
• Track record of designing and implementing employee engagement programs.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, performance‑management processes and employee‑relations frameworks.
• Capability to prepare and present HR metrics and reports.
