Rebar Detailer

About the role

J&F India Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled Rebar Detailer to join its Chennai team. The successful candidate will create accurate reinforcement drawings and bar‑bending schedules for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed rebar shop drawings and bar‑bending schedules using CADSRC.
• Interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings to produce precise detailing.
• Ensure all drawings meet British Standards (BS 8666, BS 8110), ACI, IS Codes, and other relevant UK, US, UAE, and Canada standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to clarify drawing requirements and incorporate revisions.
• Identify potential conflicts in designs and propose proactive solutions.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all deliverables.

Required profile

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2–7 years of proven experience in rebar detailing for infrastructure projects such as bridges, flyovers, tunnels, and large civil structures.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CADSRC software.
