Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out (Retail & Mall)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on‑site interior fit‑out projects for retail shops and malls in Chennai. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance and high‑quality execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise on‑site construction activities to meet project schedules.
• Lead the execution team handling interior fit‑out works such as false ceiling, paneling, tiling, painting, glazing, electrical wiring and carpentry.
• Control project expenditures and ensure completion within approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate physical and digital project documentation and provide regular status reports.
• Collaborate with commercial teams for the delivery of internal items.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and analyse delays.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing retail or mall construction projects.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, interior fit‑out and HVAC.
• Ability to communicate in Hindi is an advantage.
• Diploma/B.Sc in Interior Design or BE/B.Tech in Civil engineering.
