Project Manager – Construction of Iconic Residential Interiors

About the role

Amarilla is seeking a Project Manager to lead the on‑site execution of highly detailed, custom residential interior projects in Mumbai. You will be the company’s presence on the construction site, coordinating all trades, vendors, and inspections to ensure the work meets the firm’s uncompromising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily site operations and coordinate contractors and subcontractors across all construction phases.
• Drive field execution, ensuring work is planned, sequenced, verified, and completed correctly.
• Monitor schedule and budget, identify risks early, and escalate issues promptly.
• Inspect and verify subcontractor work for quality, completeness, and timeliness.
• Prepare and submit payment requests for approval.
• Communicate scope deviations, field conflicts, and contractual issues to the Project Partner.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation.
• Manage materials, equipment, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Uphold Amarilla’s 5S site standard and hold subcontractors accountable for a clean, organized job site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in complex custom residential construction.
• Degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated discipline, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ownership mindset with a commitment to high execution standards.
• Clear communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple on‑site teams.
