Project Engineer

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Project Engineer to plan and execute project scopes across its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses in India. The role involves collaborating with global teams, driving problem resolution and coordinating multiple project disciplines such as safety, cost, schedule and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project requirements with assigned global business units and develop Project Management System deliverables.
• Participate in invitation‑to‑tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation and contractor selection.
• Oversee engineering, execution planning, procurement, system completion and start‑up activities.
• Steward contractor performance, align key stakeholders and engage internal discipline experts.
• Coordinate issue identification and resolution, ensuring smooth transitions between project stages, sites and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
