Product Manager (Transaction Monitoring)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Manager to lead our Transaction Monitoring (TM) system. The role blends deep compliance knowledge with strong customer empathy, driving the design and delivery of AI‑native, rule‑based, and ML‑driven fraud detection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for the TM system, moving from manual spreadsheets to automated, real‑time risk detection.
• Partner with Engineering to design a scalable, low‑latency risk engine capable of handling high transaction volumes.
• Lead the ideation and launch of core modules such as Rule Engines, Alert Management, Case Investigation Workflows, and SAR filing.
• Act as the voice of the customer, working closely with internal Compliance and Ops teams to build tools that increase efficiency tenfold.
• Design smart monitoring that reduces false positives while staying compliant with AML/BSA, KYC, and sanctions regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transaction monitoring, preferably in pre‑sales, product consulting, or client‑facing technical roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of identifying and acting on emerging fraud patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and industry best practices.
