Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join MiQ’s central procurement team in Bengaluru. The role will support internal business lines by managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Compare vendor prices and make purchasing decisions within budget.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, delivery, and payment conditions with suppliers.
• Process purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor their status.
• Validate invoices, authorize payments, and ensure accurate accruals.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date vendor master file and ensure compliance documentation is complete.
• Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations teams to resolve queries and support stakeholder needs.
• Review open purchase orders monthly to optimise commitments and expedite urgent orders.
