Process Lead – Consumer Underwriting (Walk‑in Interview)

About the role

Infosys BPM Ltd. is seeking a Process Lead for the Consumer Underwriting domain in Bangalore. The role involves reviewing mortgage loan applications, making underwriting decisions, and ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines while working US night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite mortgage loan applications, evaluating credit, income, assets and collateral.
• Validate documentation against program and Automated Underwriting System (AUS) requirements.
• Issue underwriting decisions, clear‑to‑close notifications and manage denials or escalations.
• Monitor processing pipeline, workload and volume to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to investor overlays, secondary market guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) and government agency rules.

Required profile

• 4 to 8 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or consumer loan underwriting.
• Ability to work night shifts (06:30 PM – 03:30 AM IST) and immediate to 30‑day notice period.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.
