Mobile Application Developer - Flutter

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Mobile Application Developer with 3‑4 years of experience to build and ship cross‑platform mobile applications using Flutter. The role involves turning product requirement documents and UI/UX designs into clean, performant screens, integrating with backend services, and owning the release process for both iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Flutter/Dart applications for iOS and Android.
• Translate PRDs and UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel‑accurate screens.
• Implement clean architecture and state management (BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or GetX).
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling authentication, pagination, errors, and offline support.
• Implement local persistence using SQLite, Hive, Isar, or shared preferences.
• Profile and optimise app performance, size, startup time, memory and battery usage.
• Own build, signing, versioning, store metadata and submission to App Store and Play Store.
• Write unit, widget and integration tests and support automated testing.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards and branching strategy.
• Integrate platform services such as push notifications, deep linking, analytics, crash reporting and in‑app updates.
• Debug and resolve production issues reported by QA or customers.
• Collaborate with Lead Developer/Architect on API contracts and technical design.
• Manage tasks and sprints in Jira, document features in Confluence and coordinate with Product, QA and DevOps.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of mobile development experience, at least 2 years with production Flutter apps.
• Strong focus on UI quality, app performance and release discipline.
• Comfortable working closely with cross‑functional teams (Lead Developer, Product, QA, DevOps).

Required skills

• Flutter and Dart (async/await, futures, streams, null safety).
• State‑management frameworks: BLoC, Riverpod, Provider or GetX.
• REST and GraphQL API integration.
• Local storage solutions: SQLite, Hive, Isar, Shared Preferences.
• Testing: unit, widget and integration tests.
• Push notifications, deep linking, analytics, crash reporting, in‑app updates.
• Version control, CI/CD and release processes for iOS and Android.
• Jira and Confluence for task and documentation management.
