Material Handler

About the role

The Material Handler is responsible for coordinating the movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and components across the facility. This role ensures that materials are available when needed to keep production schedules on track.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of raw materials, finished goods, and parts.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and storage locations.
• Compile data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts to estimate future material requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound shipments from suppliers.
• Determine material requirements and collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure efficient material flow.
• Develop specifications for new contract orders as needed.
