Level III Electrician – Industrial Maintenance

About the role

The Level III Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work independently while coaching less‑experienced team members.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and correct safety hazards, stop work when necessary, and report incidents in accordance with HSE standards.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on machine‑shop equipment, following diagrams, manuals and specifications.
• Analyze electrical control systems, resolve faults, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Support continuous improvement by participating in TPM activities, reducing manufacturing constraints and improving process reliability.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist peers with scheduling maintenance around production needs.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
• Preventive maintenance (PPM) and breakdown maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and LOTO safety practices.
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Machine programming and factory automation/control system implementation.
• Experience with factory floor automation, control system programming and equipment integration.
