Kitchen Support Expert

About the role

The Kitchen Support Expert provides essential assistance to hotel kitchen and food‑and‑beverage operations. Working across multiple departments, you will ensure that clean linen, spotless dining ware, and well‑maintained equipment are always available for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation across the kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and employee dining areas.
• Prepare fresh linen and spotless dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Transport dishware and supplies throughout the hotel.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Uphold quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
• Perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, lifting objects up to 25 lb, and other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement (high school diploma or GED not mandatory).
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or licensing needed.
• Ability to follow policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and perform physically demanding tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and hygiene practices.
