About the role
As a Key Account Manager for commercial and industrial solar solutions, you will drive growth for Reliance New Energy’s Power Business by building and nurturing relationships with key C&I clients. You will generate new opportunities, manage existing accounts and work closely with engineering, legal and finance teams to deliver tailored renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key commercial and industrial customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the C&I segment, creating targeted strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with clients to understand energy requirements and propose solutions that meet budget and sustainability goals.
- Work with engineering to design optimized solar solutions and provide technical consultation.
- Advise clients on regulatory requirements, permitting, interconnection and compliance, including Open Access and Captive models.
- Partner with legal and finance to structure, negotiate and implement Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), overseeing contract execution and ongoing monitoring.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in key account management, sales or business development, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial energy markets and emerging trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
