Java Developer – Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join TCS’s delivery teams in Chennai, Hyderabad or Kolkata. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining enterprise‑grade applications using modern Java technologies, Spring Boot and cloud‑native microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and support scalable Java applications and batch processing solutions with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Build, expose and consume RESTful APIs to enable system integration.
• Deploy, monitor and operate applications on AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyse requirements, optimise performance and provide production support.
• Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
