IT Assurance Consultant – IT Control & Audit

About the role

We are looking for an IT Assurance Consultant to join our Assurance team. You will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, support audit engagements and help clients meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess IT general, application and process controls across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Plan, execute and document IT audit engagements following standards such as ISACA, COBIT, COSO, PCAOB and SOX.
• Test controls related to access management, change management, system development, data backup and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with client IT and business stakeholders, gather information and communicate audit findings.
• Prepare workpapers, reports and presentations with practical recommendations.
• Support clients in compliance with SOX, ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks.
• Participate in automation initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management or a similar role.
• Understanding of IT control frameworks (COBIT, COSO, ITIL) and standards (ISA, PCAOB).
• Basic knowledge of enterprise technologies such as ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), databases and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, ISO 27001) are desirable but not mandatory.
