International Tax Accountan

Key responsibilities

• Prepare UAE corporate tax and VAT returns, ensuring high quality delivery and timely submissions.
• Collate and prepare data for various tax returns across African regions, such as WHT and STR returns.
• Support the team in arranging timely payment of tax liabilities in multiple territories.
• Prepare divisional tax reporting on TRCS and statutory accounts tax disclosures.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Adhere to the company’s tax strategy and policy.
• Draft tax policies and standards as appropriate.
• Liaise with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns.
• Oversee tax matters in overseas territories including Thailand, Libya, India and Russia.
• Support the tax team in complying with global transfer pricing policies and providing requested information.
• Ensure VAT control schedules are completed for all material overseas contracts.
• Keep the business updated on developments in tax legislation and government initiatives.
• Act as central point of review and control for system changes affecting UAE and African taxes.
• Continuously review processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build relationships with operations, commercial and HR to provide tax advice as needed.
