Internal Audit & Compliance Manager

About the role

The organization seeks a senior professional to lead internal audit and compliance functions across its head office in Hyderabad and its campuses in Karachi and Islamabad. The role involves designing control frameworks, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving governance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft Delegation of Authority matrices and design internal control systems from scratch.
• Develop and implement policies, SOPs, and process re‑engineering initiatives.
• Lead operational audits, focusing on cash handling and billing controls.
• Oversee JCI accreditation and ISO certification activities.
• Provide executive communication, stakeholder management, and reporting on audit findings.

Required profile

• 8–10 years progressive internal audit experience in large non‑profit, educational, healthcare, banking or multi‑site development settings.
• Relevant qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIA (mandatory) and willingness to obtain additional certifications (CRMA, CISA, ISO Lead Auditor).
• Strong knowledge of the COSO framework, non‑profit governance, financial compliance and risk management in Pakistan.
• High ethical standards, objective judgment and zero tolerance for conflicts of interest.
• Proven leadership, change management and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Hyderabad, Karachi and Islamabad.
