About the role
Mercom India is looking for a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join its Bengaluru office. You will oversee daily HR operations, support recruitment, and drive employee engagement in a fast‑paced clean‑energy communications environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee records, statutory compliance and audit readiness.
- Administer payroll coordination, leave management and attendance systems with high accuracy.
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, including sourcing via job portals, ATS, LinkedIn, referrals and networking.
- Develop and deliver a structured onboarding program with clear 30‑60‑90‑365 day plans.
- Implement quarterly and annual performance review cycles, partnering with managers to set KPIs and OKRs.
- Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate learning programs across editorial, research, events and business teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience in HR operations, recruitment and employee engagement.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, wage standards and regulatory changes.
- Ability to work strategically in a dynamic media, research and events environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
