Housekeeping Associate

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur involves maintaining five‑star cleanliness standards across guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Make beds, clean bathrooms, replenish amenities and handle laundry items.
• Store and use cleaning supplies and equipment properly.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with the front office and other departments.
• Report maintenance issues and support safety, health and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in training new team members on housekeeping procedures.

Required profile

• Strong housekeeping and laundry skills, including room cleaning and linen handling.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Good organization, attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality operations, preferably in premium or luxury properties.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift as required.
• Basic literacy and numeracy; hospitality‑related certification or diploma is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Linen handling and laundry operations.
