Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will join Marva Group’s global finance leadership team, operating remotely from Ahmedabad. This senior position oversees financial management, reporting and control for a multi‑country healthcare group, ensuring accurate and compliant financial information across the UK, Ireland, USA, India and South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for all entities.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP as applicable.
• Oversee inter‑company reconciliations, eliminations and consolidation processes.
• Manage financial operations, statutory reporting and tax compliance in each jurisdiction.
• Lead and develop a remote/offshore finance team, driving standardisation and automation.
• Coordinate group‑wide budgeting, forecasting and annual planning cycles.
• Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors globally.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting tools and ERP integration.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience as a Group Financial Controller or senior international finance leader.
• Proven track record managing multi‑entity, multi‑country finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and cross‑border finance.
• Experience leading offshore or remote finance teams.
