General Surgeon (Full-time, Kutch District)

About the role

Mediaid Healthcare LLP is seeking a qualified General Surgeon to join its team in the Kutch district. The role involves delivering comprehensive surgical care, from pre‑operative assessment through operative management to post‑operative follow‑up, within a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop surgical plans.
• Perform a wide range of elective and emergency surgeries in accordance with current clinical standards.
• Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.
• Document clinical encounters, participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, and provide patient education.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical registration and licensure to practice as a surgeon in India.
• Strong foundation in Medicine and General Surgery, with exposure to Orthopedic, Plastic, and Ophthalmology specialties.
• Proficiency in clinical decision‑making, operative techniques, emergency management, and infection‑control protocols.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care.
• Willingness to work on‑site in the Kutch district and contribute to community health services.
