Gastroenterologist

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The specialist will evaluate, diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests for gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilise advanced techniques such as capsule endoscopy and other gastrointestinal imaging modalities.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and provide counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate documentation and follow-up care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization (MD/DM/DNB) in Gastroenterology from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical registration and license, adhering to professional ethics and current clinical guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuing medical education and hospital quality programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in endoscopy procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic).
• Experience with capsule endoscopy and related gastrointestinal imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of hepatology for management of acute and chronic liver diseases.
