Oncologist

About the role

Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad is seeking a full‑time Oncologist to deliver comprehensive cancer care. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and monitoring patients across a wide spectrum of malignancies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations, review diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapies and coordinated radiation therapy.
• Monitor treatment response, manage side‑effects and toxicities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and nursing staff.
• Contribute to clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and, where applicable, research and teaching activities.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Oncology (MD/DNB in Medical Oncology or equivalent).
• Valid registration with the appropriate national or state medical council.
• Proven experience in hospital‑based oncology practice, preferably in a tertiary or superspeciality setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, evidence‑based practice and familiarity with international oncology guidelines.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills for patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Chemotherapy planning and administration, including supportive care and toxicity management.
• Knowledge of radiation therapy principles and ability to coordinate integrated treatment plans.
• Application of international oncology guidelines and protocols (e.g., NCCN, ESMO).
