Founding Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Hybrid (Bengaluru/Lalitpur)

About the role

We are seeking a Founding Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial future of an advanced AI research and deployment organization. Working directly with the founders, you will build a world‑class finance function that supports rapid growth, attracts global investment, and ensures long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall financial strategy, including capital raising, treasury management, and long‑term planning.
• Lead fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and prepare pitch decks, financial models, and due‑diligence materials.
• Set up and oversee all financial operations: accounting, payroll, taxation, compliance, and internal controls.
• Own budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decisions.
• Manage FDI compliance for the Nepal entity, handle cross‑border transactions, and ensure regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Demonstrated success in raising capital and managing investor relationships.
• Strong understanding of cross‑border finance, FDI regulations, and tax compliance.
• Ability to build and scale finance processes from the ground up.
