Finance Controller – Mumbai (Goregaon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance team in Mumbai (Goregaon). This senior position will oversee daily financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial planning for a reputable organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations and lead a team of finance professionals.
• Stay current with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company law to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and file required reports and documents for regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on financial matters.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Present financial insights to senior management and board members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master's/CA a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of financial management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and proven leadership skills.
