Senior Statutory Audit Professional

About the role

B S R & Co. LLP is seeking an experienced senior professional to join its audit practice. The role focuses on delivering statutory audit services and accounting engagements across Indian GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP for a diverse client base that includes Indian businesses, multinationals, and listed companies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute statutory audits and related assurance services in accordance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Lead small to medium audit teams while contributing as a team member on larger assignments.
• Ensure compliance with the firm’s audit manual, professional auditing standards, and applicable legal regulations.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and address audit queries.
• Support continuous improvement of audit quality and adoption of technology.

Required profile

• CA qualification (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory.
• Significant experience in statutory audit engagements.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
• Strong understanding of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP standards.
