Facility & Housekeeping In‑Charge (School)

About the role

The school is seeking a Facility and Housekeeping In‑Charge to supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, ensuring a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for students and staff. This role involves managing a large team, overseeing assets, and supporting administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and coordinate housekeeping activities across the school campus.
• Manage a team of 100+ housekeeping and support staff, scheduling deployments for regular days and holidays.
• Collaborate with the transport department to deploy female support staff on school buses.
• Maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment in good condition.
• Update attendance registers, deployment sheets, inspection logs, asset registers and inventories.
• Assist with school expansion projects, ensuring quality, safety and timely execution.
• Ensure statutory HR‑Admin records are maintained in compliance with PF, ESI and other regulations.
• Oversee leave and attendance records for payroll preparation.
• Coordinate inventory of school equipment and furniture.
• Support event and function arrangements.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Admin Head or Principal.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in facility, housekeeping or related management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple operational tasks.
• Familiarity with HR‑Admin compliance and record‑keeping.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
