Facade Designer

About the role

Inhabit is looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated Facade Designer to join its Mumbai office. You will work with an internationally distributed team on high‑profile projects across India and abroad, contributing to every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and consultants to develop façade concepts and detailed designs.
• Produce 2D shop drawings and tender packages using AutoCAD.
• Support project management and business development activities.
• Coordinate fabrication and assembly documentation for steel, aluminium and glass systems.
• Contribute to sustainability and carbon‑strategy studies throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in façade or curtain‑wall detailing and drafting.
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate 2D drawings for façade projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel, aluminium and glass materials.
• Experience with fabrication and assembly drawing preparation.
