Engineering Associate (Hospitality District)

About the role

The Engineering Associate supports the Hospitality District by responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Visually inspect equipment, operate shut‑off valves, and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and clean work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping‑related inventory, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier lifts with assistance.
