Engineer Associate (Plumbing)

About the role

The Engineer Associate (Plumbing) will support the Engineering Department of Grand Hyatt Kochi, ensuring reliable plumbing services for guests and staff. This position focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting plumbing systems across the hotel’s facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all plumbing installations.
• Respond promptly to guest and operational requests related to plumbing issues.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of the hotel’s central plant.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a handyman or similar role in a hotel or large building with a central plant.
• Relevant technical education (college or technical school) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
