Electronic Technician – Maintenance & Reliability

About the role

The Electronic Technician ensures timely delivery and reliable operation of equipment within the Maintenance Base (MB) to meet operational demands. This role focuses on reducing non‑productive time, improving maintenance efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned electronic equipment according to the reliability‑centered maintenance program and documented procedures.
• Record all material usage, labor, and equipment performance data in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects aimed at reducing downtime, optimizing asset turnaround, and lowering cost of service delivery.
• Execute planned repair, reuse, and refurbishment of parts as part of CoSD projects.
• Support failure investigations and contribute to root‑cause analysis.
• Adhere to TLM product line standards and competency management requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a GSS (Global Service Support) environment or similar electronic maintenance role.
• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent technical education.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standardized work instructions and reliability‑centered maintenance strategies.

Required skills

• Electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience using Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems.
• Knowledge of reliability‑centered maintenance principles.
