About the role
3M is seeking a Division Sales Leader for its Personal Safety Division in Bangalore. You will drive sales strategy, manage a small to medium sales team, and own revenue targets for industrial safety products across India.
Key responsibilities
- Set short‑term strategic direction and operating plans for the Personal Safety market.
- Define sales targets, budgets and allocate resources to achieve growth objectives.
- Directly supervise sales staff, including goal setting, performance management and coaching.
- Identify and develop market and product opportunities in the industrial B2B space.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional marketing and technical services teams to meet sales goals.
- Lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or management from an accredited university.
- 10–15 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in personal safety or trade markets.
- Proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in business management.
Required skills
- Knowledge of PPE standards and regulations (OSHA, NIOSH, BIS).
- Understanding of personal protective equipment applications.
