Direct Tax Accountant - Compliance, Income Tax, Alteryx (4-6 Years)

Key responsibilities

• Support the compliance team by managing outsourced corporate tax affairs, coordinating advisors, sharing data and responding to tax queries.
• Oversee internal tax payment processes, working with treasury to ensure timely tax payments.
• Prepare national, state and local income tax and withholding tax returns and maintain accurate tax records.
• Book tax entries in accounting software and advise on tax postings to local entity books.
• Prepare and file federal, state and local tax reports, including CbCR notifications, self‑certifications for CRS and tax clearance requests.
• Perform monthly tax general‑ledger reconciliations, year‑end balance reviews and recover over‑payments.
• Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for tax data processing, reconciliation, validation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
• 4‑6 years of experience with corporate and withholding tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws and company accounting policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet critical deadlines.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Alteryx for building automated tax data workflows.
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for spreadsheet analysis.
• Accounting software for tax entry booking and reporting.
