Digital Pricing Expert (m/f/d)

About the role

The Digital Pricing Expert will act as the technical support lead for BASF’s Salesforce‑integrated Configure‑Price‑Quote (CPQ) pricing framework. Working within the BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad, you will combine deep technical expertise with a strategic view of architecture, development, administration, and integration to ensure a stable, scalable, and future‑proof platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Salesforce‑based CPQ pricing framework (PROS software).
• Shape and evolve the CPQ platform to meet business needs while maintaining stability and scalability.
• Support upcoming integrations with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA ERP systems.
• Collaborate with global and virtual teams to deliver enhancements and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience working with Salesforce.
• Experience in agile software development and working in global/virtual project teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to make rapid, logical decisions.
• Growth‑oriented attitude with curiosity to learn and improve.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA ERP.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and processes.
• Proficiency in Salesforce SalesCloud configuration.
• Experience with CPQ solutions (PROS preferred).
• Programmatic knowledge of Salesforce (e.g., Apex).
• Test automation and application‑lifecycle/change‑release management expertise.
