DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer to own and evolve our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. You will partner with development, QA, and IT teams to automate operations, monitor performance, and ensure high‑availability deployments for a rapidly scaling platform in India.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP resources (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Implement container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Run.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Administer and optimize MongoDB, including backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with Indian data protection regulations.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and custom Python/Bash scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support the software lifecycle and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps or SRE experience.
• Strong expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and GCP services.
• Proven experience with Elasticsearch and MongoDB administration.
• Legally authorized to work in India.
