Cyber Security Professional – 3rd Party Payroll

About the role

Mizuho Global Services is looking for a Cyber Security Professional to lead URL scanning and vulnerability assessment for its third‑party payroll systems. The role focuses on protecting digital assets by detecting malicious URLs, analysing system weaknesses and coordinating remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure tools to analyse URLs, portals and software.
• Implement URL categorisation and reputation checks using safe‑browsing and threat‑intelligence feeds.
• Analyse blocked or suspicious URLs and determine malicious intent.
• Document findings and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Investigate and respond to suspicious URL incidents, including blocking or quarantining threats.
• Run regular vulnerability scans of URLs, portals and software with Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability and business impact.
• Coordinate remediation with IT and development teams and track progress.
• Continuously monitor emerging threats, update tools and recommend security enhancements.
• Provide regular reports on vulnerability status, trends and risk posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in URL scanning, threat analysis and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work closely with IT, risk, compliance and business units.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritise security findings.
