Customer Service Trainer

About the role

Policybazaar is looking for a Customer Service Trainer to join its learning team. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, delivering product and sales training, and continuously up‑skilling the customer‑facing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Train new employees on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer communication, and internal systems.
• Attend monthly calibrations and new product launches.
• Identify training needs across all levels and conduct refresher sessions to boost productivity.
• Coordinate training schedules, set‑ups, create materials, and manage follow‑up activities.
• Provide comprehensive product knowledge on term and investment products to all new joiners.
• Deliver training on selling, retention, soft skills, and objection handling to sales consultants, team leaders, and assistant sales managers.
• Assist in ongoing training programs, evaluate trainee performance, and prepare score sheets.
• Audit calls, give constructive feedback, and counsel employees on product, process, and behavior.
• Maintain detailed records of workshops, participant lists, feedback, and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Background in training or employee development.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and help employees meet performance targets.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Capability to handle escalations and coordinate with supervisors or other departments.
