About the role

The Construction Planning & Monitoring Expert will oversee and evaluate construction activities for large infrastructure projects, ensuring they follow approved designs, schedules, quality standards, safety norms, and contractual obligations. This role supports data‑driven decision‑making and collaborates closely with international consultants, contractors, and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate construction progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Review contractor performance, methodologies, and resource deployment.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality assurance procedures, and safety standards.
• Identify delays, risks, and performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic monitoring reports, progress assessments, and evaluation summaries.
• Coordinate with international consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Support project management in decision‑making through data‑driven analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction monitoring, supervision, or evaluation of large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with dam or hydropower projects is preferred.
