Construction Manager – Civil Projects

About the role

Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking a Construction Manager (Civil) to lead the delivery of civil construction projects within its Real Estate Business. Based in Navi Mumbai, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring that sites are built on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site construction activities, aligning work with project plans, specifications and Siemens guidelines.
• Manage site logistics including material handling, equipment placement and access control.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Track project schedule, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and trades to optimise workflow.
• Prepare and present status, budget and schedule reports to stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce quality standards, inspection and testing procedures.
• Develop and implement a robust Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) program, conduct safety meetings and investigate incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction management, preferably on large‑scale real‑estate or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to manage vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a focus on cash‑flow and budget control.
• Effective communication skills to keep stakeholders informed throughout the project.
