Communications Associate – Content and Editing

About the role

CPI India is seeking a Communications Associate to support content development and editing across its India programs. The role translates economics, finance, and policy analysis into clear, concise insights for investors and policymakers, aligning CPI’s output with the latest climate‑finance trends.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated external communications plans with measurable KPIs.
• Guide content creation from concept to publication, including storyboards, key messaging, structure, and editing for research products, presentations, op‑eds, social media campaigns, and other written material.
• Ensure all output follows CPI’s style guide, brand, and citation standards.
• Maintain a repository of talking points summarising CPI India’s work and current climate‑finance issues.
• Support internal communications to strengthen organisational culture.
• Assist with content taxonomy, keywords, and tagging to optimise web content for search.
• Occasionally lead or support media relations, targeting top‑tier business, financial, and energy‑sector outlets.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience in communications, content development or editing.
• Strong interest in sustainable business, investment, finance and economics.
• Commitment to CPI’s mission on climate‑resilient economic growth.
