Buyer – CHO Projects Procurement & Contracts

About the role

The Buyer for CHO Projects will manage the procurement of items required for plant operations, ensuring technical specifications match user needs and vendor offers. You will act as the first point of contact for negotiations and coordinate with senior buyers to finalize deals.

Key responsibilities

• Float enquiries for assigned items based on user requirements.
• Validate technical requirements against vendor specifications and flag any gaps.
• Conduct first‑round negotiations with vendors and provide detailed feedback to the buying manager.
• Place orders for approved items and record transactions in the SAP system.
• Address internal and external audit queries related to procurement, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• B.Tech or B.E. degree.
• 2–6 years of experience in category‑based sourcing and manufacturing procurement.
• Experience in supply management within a plant‑operations environment is desirable.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module.
